Dream to Draft Today - Miriam Laundry

It’s Time To Stop Putting Your Children’s Book Idea On Hold.

Finish your children’s book draft in just 4 days

Plus! a special finale training on November 19th at 1pm ET

Join us for a LIVE, virtual training series where in just a few sessions you’ll write the first draft of your children’s book so you can stop dreaming and start becoming a published author.

Maybe you’ve scribbled a few notes. Maybe you’ve even opened a blank document once or twice.

But your children’s book still isn’t written.

And if I know you, it’s not because you don’t care. It’s because writing a children’s book alone is hard.

As a children’s book author myself, I get it. You’re right to think this isn’t easy.

But what I know for sure is this…

…the times when I felt most supported in my journey were when I had friends and mentors cheering me on!

Here’s What You’ll Get Inside This Live Training Experience

  • Live, Interactive Sessions with Miriam Laundry and Sharon Jennings (Award-winning Children’s Author)

  • Step-by-Step Workbook guiding you from idea to completed draft
  • Exclusive Writing Community for accountability and support
  • Clear Daily Goals so you’ll never feel lost
  • Perfect for Beginners: No prior experience needed

Hi There!

If We Haven’t Met Yet, I’m Miriam

I’m a mom, a TEDx speaker, and the bestselling author of several children’s books — including I CAN Believe in Myself, which helped set a Guinness World Record™️for the largest online book discussion in a single day.

Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of aspiring authors go from idea to published book — and I truly believe that if you have a story in your heart, you can write something that matters.

Inside this bootcamp (and beyond!), I’m here to walk with you through the process step-by-step — with simple tools, real support, and a whole lot of encouragement along the way.

And I Want To Introduce You To My Friend, Sharon

Hi There!

Sharon Jennings is one of the most respected children’s book authors in the world — and she also happens to be one of the kindest, wisest people I know.

She’s written over 70 children's books and has helped countless writers strengthen their stories through editing, mentorship, and her deep understanding of what makes a children’s book work.

Sharon will be joining us throughout the bootcamp to share her expertise and offer thoughtful, practical insight you can apply right away. You’re going to love learning from her — I know I always do.

Give Us 4 Days, We’ll Help You Write yOUR FIRST DRAFT

We created this virtual, live event because we don’t want you to have to write your children’s book on your own.

When you sign up to join me + Sharon live, you’ll get real-time support, live guidance, and a community of writers right there with you — all finally doing the thing, one step at a time.

And by the end of the week, you won’t just know how to write a children’s book — you’ll have started it.

Here’s What You Can Expect From Our Time Together…

Welcome Party

November 13th at 1pm ET

We’ll kick things off with connection, clarity, and a little inspiration.

You’ll reconnect with why you signed up, hear what to expect over the next four days, and meet your mentors — me, Miriam Laundry, and the wonderful Sharon Jennings.

We’ll also share stories from past students, walk through the workbook, and help you settle in before training begins.

Training 1: Choose Your Story Idea

November 14th at 1pm ET

We’ll start with a warm welcome and a short writing activity to get your creativity flowing.

Then I’ll walk you through how to choose the right story idea — one that feels exciting, clear, and full of potential. You’ll have space to reflect and start working on it right inside the session.

At the end, I’ll give you a few simple next steps so we can meet before our next session with a bit of writing under our belts!

Training 2: Outline Your Story

November 17th at 1pm ET

Day two is all about structure and flow.

You’ll learn how to outline your story in a way that feels natural, simple, and strong. We’ll give you tools to start shaping your story with confidence, and you’ll get time to apply it right inside the session.

Training 3: Write Your First Draft

November 18th at 1pm ET

This is the day it all starts coming together.

You’ll learn how to take your outline and turn it into a real first draft — with writing techniques that help you move forward without getting stuck. You’ll get time to start writing during the session and simple next steps to keep going after.

BONUS! Special Finale Training

November 19th at 1pm ET

In this final bonus session, you’ll discover three advanced writing strategies that professional authors use to elevate their stories and connect more deeply with young readers.

You’ll learn how to look at your draft with fresh eyes, make simple edits that have a big impact, and start thinking like a professional writer — even if this is your very first book.

By The End Of Our Time Together, You Will…

  • Have a clear story idea you’re excited to write
  • Understand what makes a picture book work — and how to shape your own
  • Feel confident about your story structure and pacing
  • Know how to write in a way that connects with children
  • Have a solid first draft started (or even finished!)
  • Know your next steps for editing and moving forward
  • Feel proud of the progress you’ve made — and excited about what’s next

Wondering If This Is Right For You?

you can Write a quality Children’s Book.

Here are answers to frequently asked questions:

Do I need any writing experience to join the bootcamp?

Not at all. Whether you’ve been writing for years or this is your very first try, this bootcamp will meet you right where you are. We’ll guide you step-by-step — no experience required.

Will I actually write something during the bootcamp?

Yes! The goal is to help you start writing — not just think about it. You’ll walk away with a story idea, an outline, and a solid start on your first draft (maybe even a finished one!).

What if I can’t attend live?

No problem! If you upgrade to VIP, you’ll get access to replays of all the trainings and the Q&A sessions so you can watch at your own pace. Replays expire on November 25th, 2025.

How much time will it take each day?

Each training is about 45 minutes, including a few minutes of guided writing time. VIPs also have the option to stay for a 60-minute Q&A after each session.

Is this really FREE?

Yes. We want this to be an easy “yes” — a simple, supportive way to finally start the book that’s been on your heart. You deserve that. But if you want replays and specialized Q&A sessions we do have our VIP option for $37. You can find more details here!

The replays do expire. Here’s why 👇

All VIPers will get replays of the bootcamp sessions — trainings and Q&As included — for a limited time.

Why? Because the Dream to Draft bootcamp was built on the principle of accountability.

I know your life is busy, and I know that even as you’re reading this now, the back of your mind is flooded with all the things you need to do this week — dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, and more.

I also know that no matter how passionate you are about writing this children’s book, you’ll always be tempted to put those responsibilities first.

That’s why I made this bootcamp — so you could give dedicated time and focus to your dream of writing for children (without giving everything up!)

So, to keep you accountable and on time, training replays will expire on November 25th, 2025. ⚠️

Q&A replays will expire a bit later in December.

Dream to Draft is designed to get your first story draft on paper in just 4 days. Commit to this process, and you absolutely CAN do it.

I believe in you.

*Replays will not be available with General Admission. Replays will only be available to those who  upgrade to VIP.

You Deserve Support. Children Deserve Your Story.

Writing a children’s book can feel overwhelming — but with the right support, it becomes something truly joyful.

This dream has been in your heart for a reason. You don’t need to wait for the perfect time or have everything figured out. There’s no gold star for doing it on your own.

Inside this bootcamp, you’ll get the encouragement, clarity, and guidance you need to finally bring your story to life.

Because your voice matters.

And somewhere out there, a child is waiting to hear the story only you can tell.

Let’s write it. Together.
