Kerre Randel Ortegel is the Founder and President of Holidays & Heroes, a non-profit organization that supports local military families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. Kerre and her husband, Bob, reside in Fort Worth, Texas within a mile of the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base. They are a blended family. Between the two of them, they have six children, 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one fur baby: their Yorkshire Terrier, Angel.
