Karen Blaisdell
Karen Blaisdell is a native Californian who studied Art, Art History and Writing at California State University, Long Beach and received her Fine
Arts degree from Santa Monica College. She was a curator and long-time artistic collaborator with her husband, the artist Don Blaisdell, as well as co-owner of the Blaisdell Fine Art Gallery in their hometown of Los Angeles. Karen also worked in the travel industry and enjoys traveling the world, discovering new places and sometimes going on
extraordinary adventures using her imagination. Karen loves to create, dance, write, read and garden. She treasures in the wonder of nature, sitting quietly and experiencing its beauty with her family. This is Karen’s long anticipated debut children’s picture book and she is already imagining the next one
