Bryn Sheedy Gibson grew up in Rockford, Illinois, surrounded by children’s books and big imaginations. As a child, he often felt tiny (but mighty!)—a feeling that now inspires the heart of his storytelling. Through his writing, Bryn hopes to share that same empowering message with young readers everywhere. With a background in school finance, Bryn is passionate about helping children receive strong educational opportunities. He is excited to continue writing the Tiny Hero Series alongside his mother, Lynn, creating stories that encourage children to look inward, discover their strengths, and believe that even the smallest heroes can make a big difference.

Lynn Sheedy Gibson has spent a lifetime surrounded by stories, reading countless children’s books to her children and grandchildren. Her love of storytelling led her to co-author two previous books with Bryn, one of her six grown children. An educator at heart, Lynn’s journey has taken her from ditching kindergarten to serving as a school district superintendent and university professor. A native of Rockford, Illinois, she finds inspiration along winding hiking trails and the adventure that can be found around every bend.
