Andrea V. Corpening
Andrea Corpening, award-winning author of Beef Patty by Friday!, was born in England and is of Jamaican heritage. She is the director of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit called Lamplight of Grace, which focuses on supporting youth through scholarships, college pantry supplies, HBCU funding, and more.
Andrea is a foodie and does a lot of work in the nonprofit space, and has a passion for supporting the educational needs and goals of children of all ages. She is a two-time recipient of the YWCA ‘Women Who Make a Difference’ community service award. Andrea is a wife, mother, and ‘Mimi’ (grandmother). She also has two fur babies — Nox, and Dax (her granddog), whom she affectionately refers to as ‘Noxxie and Daxxie.’
