Sandy Monroe lives in Ohio (go Buckeyes!) with her sweet fur babies, Lexi and Cooper, and two cats named Phoenix and Jazzy. She also has two sons, one of whom serves in the military. Reading and writing served as an outlet in her childhood. Over the years, many stories, poems, and songs bloomed from her imagination as a result.
Throughout her career as a teacher and literacy specialist, she has inspired her students to become writers and publish their very own stories. The magic of words and how they can profoundly change a child’s life is what fuels her passion to write.
