Bryn and Lynn Sheedy Gibson
Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Bryn Sheedy Gibson has been around children’s books his whole life. Growing up feeling tiny but mighty has led him to want to bring this powerful sentiment to other children. He has a background in finance and strives to help children receive a great education. This is his debut into the world of writing children’s books, alongside his mother, Lynn. He hopes that his writing can be another way to show children how to look inward to find their true and best selves.

Lynn Sheedy Gibson has read so many children’s books to her children and grandchildren that she finally decided to co-author her first book with Bryn, one of her six grown children. She has been an educator for much of her life, from her early days of being a kindergarten truant to being a school district superintendent and university professor. Lynn is a native to Rockford, Illinois. Her love of the outdoors and hiking inspires her to write stories where children can see every step of life as part of one big adventure.
