Sally Taggart

Originally from Monroe, Michigan, Sally Taggart was raised in Golden, Colorado, and her four grown children proudly hail from Houston, Texas. While her children were living at home, Sally was honored to represent the State of Texas as the state’s, American Mothers Inc.® “Mother of Young Children”.

Sally is a former elementary school teacher; however, in 2007, her lifelong love affair with personal development led her to train with her mentor, the late Bob Proctor. There, she earned recognition as a certified Life Success consultant.

Sally has observed that children start their lives with what seems to be an innate sense of self-love and self-acceptance. Over time, it seems, that sense of wholeness and well-being begins to feel diminished. She believes that the words we use, especially when we speak to ourselves, hold great importance and have a profound impact on the quality of life we experience. It is her life’s work to help people return to a recognition of their inherent goodness, embrace their uniqueness and cultivate a kind and compassionate relationship with themselves. Sally says this book was inspired by the question, “What would happen if children developed the habit of acknowledging and greeting themselves with kindness?”

Sally is known for her smile, enthusiasm, sense of humor and hugs. She has also been known to wink at herself in the mirror. Together, she and her husband, Craig, enjoy family time, especially with their 18 amazing grandchildren, playdates with friends and country western dancing. They live in Mesa, Arizona.

As an author, professional speaker and coach, Sally provides interesting, entertaining and inspirational keynotes and workshops to individuals, groups and organizations across the nation.
