Eve Olive

Eve Olive was born in Tennessee but grew up in Africa from the age of three, returning to the United States as an adult. She has been an architect, educator and writer. In 1984 she helped found the Emerson Waldorf School in Chapel Hill, NC, designed its first buildings and taught eurythmy (movement) there for 24 years.
 
She is the creator of the performance pieces “the Creation Myth of the Yoruba”, “The Creation Myth of the Cherokee Indian” and “Cosmic Journey: Poems of Birth, Poems of Earth and a Fairy Tale for our Time.” The latter is available on YouTube. In 2013 she published the anthology, Cosmic Child: Inspired Writings from the Threshold of Birth, and in 2023, Little Stars Dancing in the Night.

Eve has three stepchildren, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She lives in North Carolina in a 1910 farmhouse which she and her husband lovingly renovated and restored.
