Nikki Anderson
Nikki Anderson is an educator and children’s author whose second-grade dream of becoming a writer never faded. Born in Alton, Illinois, and now living in Mazatlán, Mexico, she draws on 20+ years of experience in elementary classrooms to craft warm, lesson-rich stories that inspire kids to chase big goals at any age. Nikki holds a master’s degree in Teacher Leadership, earned the 2009 Rising Star of the Year award, and serves as a Program Leader with Harvard-Smithsonian Youth AstroNet, where she helps expand students’ horizons through hands-on STEM. A wife, mother of five, and grandmother of two, she writes with warmth drawn from family, hope, and real-life lessons for every story. Nikki advocates for global access to books and is making that vision real, one story at a time. Fun fact: the color purple fuels her creativity!
