Spotlight: My Mom’s a Builder (Can I Build Too?) 

Sheri Ann McQuality

After graduating from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1994, Sheri dove boots first into a male-dominated construction industry. She experienced firsthand what it felt like to be one of a small handful of women in construction. Some would call her a pioneer in the industry, as she has helped pave the way for future generations of young women. The industry has come a long way in the past 30 years, but there is still a lot that needs to be done. The challenges that women face in construction today are still very real. Sheri’s goal is to inspire, educate and empower through captivating stories that celebrate girls in the construction industry.
