Jennifer Anderson, affectionately known as Gidget, is a first-time children’s book author with a big heart for little readers. A former Navy helicopter pilot and secret squirrel (shhh...it’s a secret), she was inspired by her mom’s magical bedtime stories to write this book. When she’s not writing, she’s likely chatting with birds, rescuing turtles, or outwitting a snack-loving raccoon. She lives in the New Hampshire Lakes Region with her husband and two furry sidekicks, where she hopes her stories spark giggles, smiles, and a lifelong love of reading in young children and the grown-ups who read with them.
