Janie Janzen
Janie Janzen grew up on a farm in western Oklahoma where her first pet was a white dog named Peppy. Her husband grew up on a farm in central Kansas, and together, they raised their two sons—along with a variety of animals—on farms in both states. Janie and her husband now make their home in Enid, OK, where a well-loved red pickup is always parked nearby. Janie is retired, leaving behind a 32-year career in public library work where picture books were her favorite genre. Several of her grandchildren, who live in the country, helped name Peppy’s new friends in this book.
