Barbara Swisher Amundson, formerly from Saskatoon, Canada, is a family law attorney (now retired). In her former family law practice, in Rochester, Minnesota, she was a strong advocate for families with young children. She has the empathy and insight to understand a child’s emotions. Ms. Swisher Amundson recognizes the importance of building self confidence in children. Barbara is a ‘Read with Me’ volunteer in California where she helps children read and comprehend English, and she also reads at elementary schools in Minnesota. She is enjoying writing, oil painting, and golfing in her retirement.
