Lisa Goddard
Lisa Goddard has enjoyed many chapters in her life. She is a New England printmaker who has exhibited widely and has placed her art in many private and public collections. She was the Executive Director of the Newport Art Museum from 2008-2015 and co-owned and operated a collaborative printmaking studio from 1999-2018. During her early decades she was a teacher, TV and radio producer, and on-air personality.
In her latest endeavor, she shares her own childhood experiences in children’s books, drawing on her vivid memories to kindle the simple joys of friendship and kindness in the young and the young-at-heart. Her artwork evokes the beautiful pen and ink and watercolor images from the days before computer illustrations.
Lisa lives in Rhode Island with her family and her Beagle. She particularly loves playing with her grandchildren.
