Jean Nishimura
Jean Miki Nishimura is an Intervention Teacher. She holds an MA in
Education and a Specialist Instruction in Reading and Language Arts
Credential. She works as a Retirement Planning Advisor in the financial
industry. Jean is an alumna of UCLA and CSUN.
Although Jean looks forward to her travels and experiencing new places
she appreciates living in sunny Southern California. She enjoys spending
her leisure time with Jeff and their Maltipoo, Rocket, as well as visiting their friends and grown children.
As an author, Jean’s goal is to help children recognize and celebrate their
special gifts. She hopes to inspire children to embrace a positive mindset and to apply their own special qualities with confidence.
