Lori Parks, an incredible author in my Publishing Mastermind, is releasing her brand new children’s book, The Power of One.

Power of One Book Cover

The Power of One is a book that teaches kids, aged 5-9, that they have what it takes to make a difference in the world. It follows the story of Nolan, a young boy who learns to find empowerment through helping others, one by one.
Lori has always dreamed of becoming a published author and began writing The Power of One four years ago after her grandson came home from a school assembly about poverty in the world and asked, “Nana, I’m only little and there’s only one of me. What can I do?”

After setting her manuscript aside for a few years, Lori found the inspiration she needed to begin the publishing process.

“I came across Miriam and her series of ‘I Can’ books. I started following her on Facebook and came upon a post stating that she was looking to mentor aspiring authors. I sent a copy of The Power of One to her and the rest is history.”

Lori is excited to share The Power of One with her grandson, who inspired the book, and her mother. The Power of One is now available to purchase on Amazon and If you’d like to follow Lori on her writing journey, you can join her on social media.
