A. Hurrian was Timmy’s age a long, long time ago. She was born in Beirut to Armenian parents, and lived abroad before returning to Canada in 2020. She took her job as the oldest child in the family very seriously, often standing up for children’s rights—whether it was called for or not. She was inspired to write this story after noticing how first-born children struggle with the arrival of a new baby in the family.
She’s held many roles over the years, including Reporter, Banker, Parent, Trauma-Informed Consultant, Artist, and now Children’s Book Author, where she aims to write stories that include a pinch of advocacy.
A. Hurrian is now the grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren, including Timmy—the hero of this story. This book is the first planned in a series about each of her grandkids.
