Laurie Ellen Robillard has an ECE diploma as well as a degree in art education from the University of Victoria. Chosen to be part of a sponsor program enabled her to specialize in teaching kindergarten and art. Laurie taught grades K through 12. Although teaching each grade was special, Kindergarten was her passion. It’s what kept her young!
Now retired, Laurie has decided to write children’s books. She hopes that through her stories children will not only fall in love with reading, but also be inspired to write a story of their own!
Laurie lives on the side of a mountain in beautiful Lake Country, British Columbia, Canada. She can frequently be found fly-fishing with her hubby, her 2 kids, and her 3 grandkids, seeing who can catch the largest salmon.
