How to Make Your Own Luck

I know St. Patrick's Day is all about luck, but I’m here to tell you how to make your own luck. It seems a bit counterintuitive, doesn’t it? Isn’t the whole point of luck that you don’t control it?

The Truth About Luck

Believe it or not, you can control your luck.

Sure, pulling a royal flush or rolling box cars comes down to pure luck. But when it comes to the big things in life — your business/career, finances, relationships — you need to make your own luck.

Think about these successful people:

  • Bill Gates
  • Oprah Winfrey
  • Walt Disney
  • Beyonce
  • Steve Jobs
What’s the one thing they all have in common? They all worked hard to accomplish their dreams.

Bill Gates didn’t just stumble across Microsoft, and Oprah wasn’t just given one of the most well known talk shows in the world.

Luck is alright for the little things in life, but if you really want to be successful, you need to work your hardest and search for your own opportunities.

How To Make Your Own Luck

Even though having a big dream can be daunting, it’s important to persevere. When your mind starts telling you “I’ll never amount to success” and “I can’t do it”, you need to take a deep breath, lift your chin up, and say “I CAN do this!”

As soon as you start believing in yourself, you’ll feel confident and motivated.

Sure, it takes a lot of hard work to reach the success of Steve Jobs and Beyonce, but if you have confidence in yourself and the motivation to keep going, anything is possible.

You just need to take it day by day and before you know it, you’ll realize that your dream wasn’t so far away after all.

If you've bought my I CAN Believe in Myself book, could I ask a favour?
I'd love if you'd write a review on Amazon.

Even if you bought the book elsewhere, Amazon will let you review the book right HERE.

Thanks so much! I so appreciate it.
