Mary Kerins lives in Western New York with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoor life—hiking, walks in the woods, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her family.
A retired school administrator, she has more than 25 years of experience sharing the “joy of reading” with children. Mary is a member of the SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), the Lewiston NY Writers’ Group, the SCBWI NY West Central Region, and the ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development).
Her books focus on the extraordinary gifts of family and friendship, and their importance in the positive development of young children.
