Celebrating Father’s Day at ML Publishing

With Father's Day just around the corner, myself and the staff at ML Publishing want to acknowledge and appreciate the incredible men we’ve worked with. I can confidently say that each of these guys has made a positive impact on both our community and in the world around them. Happy Father’s Day!

Robert D. DeWolfe

Where Do We Go Book Cover

Robert “Bob” DeWolfe is the author of Where Do We Go?, a children’s nonfiction picture book about bears.

Bob is also a proud member of the local Rotary Club and can often be found spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.

Happy Father's Day, Bob!

Brian Williams

Batter Up Billy Book Cover

Brian Williams is the author of Batter Up Billy, an inspiring children’s picture book about being unapologetically YOU.

We want to honour Brian on Father’s Day because he is an incredible uncle AND dedicates his free time to empowering the youth in his community. He offers free school visits where he teaches students how to bake and be themselves. He is one of the kindest and most charitable people I know.

You’re amazing, Brian!

David Shoup

The Adventures of Wembly the Pug by David Shoup Book Cover

David Shoup is the author of The Adventures of Wembly: Wembly’s First Day of School. It’s the story of a small pug who learns to conquer his fears and have fun at school.

David is also an incredible father. What many of our other authors may not know about David is that he’s an actor with a bachelor’s degree in theatre. Trust me when I say this: hearing David read his stories aloud is amazing.

Happy Father’s Day, David!

Wade W. Bergner

The Mirror Box by Wade Bergner Book Cover

Wade Bergner is the author of The Mirror Box, a heartwarming story about coping through grief and finding joy in every moment. He has also published a picture book entitled The Bird Ride.

Wade is a wonderful father and is passionate about inspiring young readers. Seeing Wade grow through this publishing journey has been so incredible.

I hope you’ll join me in celebrating Wade this Father’s Day!

John Nicholson

John Nicholson is the MLP Team’s go-to guy. He is one of the most intelligent people I know and is always willing to help with any tech, website, and printing questions.

John is also an incredible father of three boys. Here at the MLP Team, we appreciate John to infinity and beyond. We could not be where we are today with him!

Happy Father’s Day, John!

A Special Father’s Day Thanks

I also want to extend a personal thank you to all the amazing fathers and mentors out there. This world would not be the place it is today without leaders like you investing in children’s lives.

Happy Father’s Day!
