At the beginning of the year, I set some big goals for myself and my business, and one of my goals was to dedicate a portion of my business to giving back. To do that, I started partnering with Pencils of Promise ™️. But before I tell you all about it, I want to explain why this partnership is so important to me.
Why I Chose Pencils of Promise ™️
When my husband and I were younger, we decided to do some short term mission work in Bolivia, where I spent a lot of my childhood. I’ll never forget how rewarding those experiences were for both the local residents and the missions team. There’s no better feeling than knowing that what you’re doing is making a difference right then and there.
We did this work for a number of years, taking turns one staying home with our young children and one going on the trip. We went to Guatemala, Haiti, and Peru, but once we started having more kids and our at-home lives became more demanding, we decided to press pause on our missions work.
It wasn’t an easy decision to make and I still think about that time in our lives often. Helping less fortunate countries has been on my heart ever since, but travelling to different countries and doing construction work was no longer a possibility for me.
And then I came across Pencils of Promise ™️.
Pencils of Promise ™️ has made it their mission to build schools and provide educational resources in countries where not every child is guaranteed an education. These countries include Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos.
Right away, I knew this was a mission I wanted to be a part of.
How I'm Contributing
That’s why I’ve decided to donate 100% of my proceeds from my upcoming book I CAN Believe in Myself, co-authored with Jack Canfield to Pencils of Promise ™️.
I CAN Believe in Myself is currently available for order.
I’m so excited to see this book make a difference not only in your children's lives, but also in the lives of children who currently don’t have access to a quality education.
Along with 100% of my proceeds from the re-release of I CAN Believe in Myself, a portion of every program sign-up (CBM, Publishing Mastermind, etc.) is going towards Pencils of Promise ™️ as well.
I believe every child deserves a quality education and the right to learn in a safe environment, and I’m excited to see that Pencils of Promise ™️ is giving children that chance.
